First the whole team here at GA-ESI would like to
thank all of our customers that made it to this years Users Group Meeting
for making it one of the most interesting, informative and fun meetings
we have had.
One of the more interesting reports was on how Elin Oil (in Greece)
has installed the TMS3000 and PowerLoad units aboard two ships in the
Mediterranean Sea. These ships will travel from island to island refueling
gas stations. As far as I know, it is the first terminal in the world
that makes house calls.
Another interesting report was on the HOSL fire. Through our contacts
within Total UK, we were able to get first hand accounts of the whole
incident and make recommendations on how terminals here in the US can
avoid a similar situation.
I wish I had the foresight to record the session on Crystal Reports.
It was one of the most informative sessions I have had the pleasure
to sit in on. A special thanks goes to Trista Fandel for this great
session. As a former instructor for Crystal Reports and a current user
of the TMS3000, she was able to not only show how Crystal Reports works
but also how it specifically works with the TMS3000. In conjunction
with the class on Crystal Reports, Bill Friesenhahn gave a class on
database table review for the TMS3000. Between these two classes, I
believe that even a salesman could write his own reports.
At the end of the first day, everyone was entertained with a dinner/dance
cruise of San Diego Harbor. Between the superbly prepared dinner and
the beautiful views, it was a perfect evening.
