The General Atomics Electronic Systems, Inc. (GA-ESI) Quality Assurance (QA) Program has been in existence for over forty years. Through the years the QA program has met the needs and requirements of naval nuclear, industrial, defense, and nuclear utilities programs. Today’s General Atomics Electronic Systems, Inc. is comprised of four core-technology/product lines: Radiation Monitoring Systems and Products, Energy Storage Capacitors, Power Systems, and Terminal Automation Products. The basic quality management program is ISO 9001:2000 registered and certified for all product lines. Click here to view our ISO 9001:2000 Cert (pdf) There is an additionally separate program and manual that responds to the requirements and intents of 10CFR50, Appendix B, ANSI N45.2 (including applicable “daughter” standards), ASME/NQA-1, 1989 through NQA-1c 1992 addenda for the Radiation Monitoring Systems and Products product line. GA-ESI’s quality management system is a comprehensive system that may be tailored for specific in-house programs through the use of supplements and amendments to meet specific programmatic requirements, and to ensure that customized requirements are well organized and well documented. Our quality management program prescribes the management controls to ensure that consistent and efficient design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, inspection, delivery, and services are delivered to our customers. The quality management program defines and implements a strategic quality plan that aligns the activities of all employees, including management, with the common focus of providing customer satisfaction through continuous improvements in the quality of all activities, products and services. Therefore, a strong quality culture is maintained and fostered throughout the company.
