Sorrento Electronics and BNFL Instruments Agree on Co-operation.

Sorrento Electronics, Inc., with headquarters in San Diego, California, and BNFL Instruments, Inc., headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico, have agreed to co-operate to provide nuclear detection and monitoring instrumentation to the North American nuclear marketplace.

Sorrento Electronics, an Affiliate of General Atomics, is the established market leader for radiation monitoring systems in the commercial nuclear power plant market, while BNFL Instruments has an extensive customer base for radioactive material assay systems and services in the DOE sector. Working together the two companies will enhance their abilities to provide a comprehensive range of nuclear instrumentation and services to a wider customer base.
