The new General Atomics Electronic Systems, Inc. (GA-ESI) Hazardous Location Proximity Reader (PR-3000Ex) allows the petrochemical industry to add a secure identification system to their current operations. Designed to work with the GA-ESI TMS-3000 or other automation systems, the PR-3000Ex uses standard HID protocols for ease of use.

• The PR-3000Ex is installed in an explosion proof enclosure for hazardous locations.
• Captive card feature allows for extended card authorization operations.
• In addition to traditional Wiegand protoclos the HLPR offers RS232, RS485, USB and UART communication modes.
• Onboard beeper and LED for quick recognition.
