Gas Monitors

Data Sheet

General Atomics Electronic Systems, Inc. (GA-ESI) RGM-series gas monitors include two channels, one for high and one for low gamma activity concentrations and a local processor, common for both the channels. Aerosol monitors are most often used upstream of the gas monitor. NaI(TI) detectors are installed on skid frames in SST Marinelli beakers. Set-points, sampling intervals, and counting intervals may be defined both locally and remotely.

Features:

  • Local Processor Unit for: date/time, gamma concentration, sampled air volume, operating conditions
  • Two Channels for High & Low Gamma Activity
  • MCA Capability
  • Sampling Volume: low range 6150 cm3 - high range 316 cm3
  • Nominal Gas Flow 0.5 TO 3 CFM (others optional)
